Audrey, Wait!-Robin Benway @ 7:07 AM

It's the song everyone's singing. And it's about her! But for Audrey, becoming famous overnight equals total, life-changing disaster . . .
Review:
Description in one word: Unique
When I picked up Audrey, Wait!, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. Robin Benway did such a nice job with this book, I didn't want it to end! I just cannot wait to read more by her. Audrey, Wait! tells the tale of sixteen-year-old Audrey who is thrust into the limelight after her ex-boyfriend, Evan, writes a song about their breakup and it becomes a HUGE hit. Benway goes on to write about Audrey's life after the song, and how much everything changes. FILLED with drama and even a little romance, Audrey, Wait! is a phenomenal read!
The characters in this book are completely relateable. Audrey, besides the whole 'fame' concept, was SO easy to relate to; I love the way that she was her own person, completely independent. Victoria, Audrey's best friend, was also easy to relate to in the sense that she ALWAYS had something to talk about; which, at my age, isn't hard for me :) Also, I had no problem loving James, who is Audrey's co-worker at the Scooper Dooper (an ice cream shop). He was just so adorable! The one person who made me laugh was Tizzy, the always-hyper high school girl who absolutely adores Audrey after she becomes famous.
The plot, in my opinion, was COMPLETELY unique!! I have never heard of anything like it, and I think that might be on the of the reasons I LOVED this book so much! Robin always had some sort of dramatic event going on, and I just loved that :) I would recommend this book to ANYONE looking for an AMAZING read! This book had me angry, sad, and even laughing hysterically at some point. I would read Audrey, Wait! again and again and again, without hesitation.
Rating: 10-A truly AMAZING read; one of my all time favorites! I would recommend it to ANYBODY in a heartbeat :)
